On December 23rd, 2023, Amaiyi General Hospital hosted a healthcare training session for doctors and nurses, organized by the League of Achina Women Professionals (LAW-P). The aim was to equip healthcare workers with the necessary skills to care for newborn babies before, during, and after birth. The event brought together professionals from LAW-P and specialists from Nnamdi Azikiwe Teaching Hospital Nnewi.
